Coloured display bowl – well this is what I’m calling it. The hollowed bowl part is around one third of the diameter of the piece the main focus is on the decorated rim. The outer edge band and the band of colour around the rim of the bowl are gold in colour. The main colouring on the inner part of the rim has a mix of blue, red and violet with a white tinge throughout all colours.

The colours have been framed by two beads of the wood showing through the paint.

The coloured display bowl has been turned from Sycamore, has you can see from the images has a curve from the base opening out to the rim of the bowl

This coloured display bowl stand 80mm high and is 290mm in diameter.
